Ride the Wave to Learning…
Reading- Students will begin
Book Clubs with their chosen novel. Students will be focusing on the character
traits in their novels.
ELA- Students will finish writing their tall tales and begin looking
at student examples of expository writing to understand the best writing
practices.
Math- Students will learn about mean, median, mode, and range. In
addition, they will be learning about attributes of circles. Math (MAP test
will be Tuesday, March 24th)
Science- Students will start the Weather unit with learning about types
of clouds and the water cycle. (Astronomy Test #2 Tuesday, March 17th)
Social Studies
- We will begin learning about the early leaders of
our nation and their impact on our government system.
